Sheffield Honey Farm, formerly Barrington Apiaries, and also formerly H.L. Jones and Sons began keeping bees in 1898.

The Jones Family tradition continued through sons grandsons and great grandsons and in the 1970s focused primarily on bulk production and exported honey to England Belgium and Germany.  The company is now owned by Linsay Bourke and continue with the same high standards of quality and unique flavour in honey with over 1800 hives.
